EIH Explores Strategic Partnership with Plovdiv’s University of Food Technologies

As part of its mission to foster innovation and invest in human capital, Euro Investment Holding JSC took a significant step forward in aligning the worlds of academia and industry.
A high-level delegation led by Engineer Muhanned Al-Nuaimi, Chairman of EURO INVESTMENT HOLDING JSC, and Professor Nidal Shaban, visited the University of Food Technologies (UFT) in Plovdiv. The goal of the visit was to initiate a long-term, mutually beneficial collaboration between the Holding’s subsidiaries and the academic community at UFT.

The discussions centered on building a strong academic-industry partnership between Euro Investment Holding, its flagship companies Lacrima and Balkan, and the university. The collaboration will focus on:
Enhancing food industry standards through joint research
Developing sustainable production methods in agriculture and dairy
Supporting student advancement through internships, field training, and professional mentorship
Creating innovation pipelines in food technology and quality control
“This partnership reflects our vision to invest in people, strengthen innovation, and build enduring bridges between education and industry,” said Engineer Muhanned Al-Nuaimi during the meeting.

This initiative represents a powerful alignment of values between the private sector and academia, both aiming to elevate Bulgaria’s competitiveness in food and agricultural production, ensure quality and safety, and prepare the next generation of professionals.
